Pauls Mums Front Room Records

PMFRR was formed in the late 1980s, initially to release the first Screeming Custard! single. Following the success of that, we decided to release a few more by bands that luckily were prepared to do most of the hard work themselves.

We took a bit of a break from things during the nineties, but now, thanks to the miracle of technology that is CD-R, we’re back, showcasing those bands that wouldn't otherwise see the light of day.

We usually concentrate on recordings from early on in a band’s career, leaving the cashing-in to the major record companies. Despite our involvement, some of our artists have managed to go on to find fame and fortune elsewhere (at least one has had number one albums and singles under other guises) but most are happy with their 15 minutes of fame encapsulated on these somewhat dodgy recordings.
